Our Savior Lutheran School has many opportunities for our students to participate in extracurricular clubs and organizations and we are proud to also offer the opportunity for our students to become part of the Our Savior Lutheran School Junior Honor Society.

Membership is open to Our Savior students who meet the required standards in five areas of evaluation, established by the N.J.H.S. national office. Students are selected to be members by the Faculty Council and appointed by the principal each spring.

Middle School students are eligible for membership at the end of the third quarter. A student must have a cumulative grade point average of 3.5 or better on a 4.0 scale for the current year in all classes including but not limited to (Religion, Language Arts, Math, Science, Social Studies, and Spanish).

If the student meets the criteria, they are invited to join OSLS JHS. Students are also expected to demonstrate good citizenship and be excellent character.  Throughout the year, OSLS JHS students raise money to help various charitable organizations.

Candidates are tapped at Opening Exercises and inducted in a Candlelight Ceremony.
